Difficulties in Injection Molding of Electrical Plastic Injection Parts for Plastic Parts Processing (2)

Plasticizer

Plasticizers can increase the softness, elongation and plasticity of plastic, reduce the flow temperature and hardness of plastic, and contribute to the molding of plastic products, commonly used are phthalates, sebacic acid esters, chlorinated paraffin, etc.

Flame retardant

Additives that improve the flame resistance of plastics are called flame retardants. Most plastics containing flame retardants have self-extinguishing properties, or slow burning rates. Commonly used flame retardants are antimony oxide and aluminum, boron compounds, halides and phosphate esters, tetrachlorobenzene dicarboxylic anhydride injection molding process, tetra-O benzene dicarboxylic anhydride and so on.

Lubricants

Lubricants are substances added to improve the release of plastic when heating and molding and to improve the surface finish of products, commonly used lubricants are: stearic acid and its salts, paraffin waxes, synthetic waxes and so on.

Electrical plastic injection parts is a relatively broad concept, it contains all aspects of our life around the items, such as: TV plastic injection parts, computer plastic injection parts, air conditioning plastic injection parts, junction box plastic injection parts. These products consume large amounts of plastic raw materials every year, so what are the common process challenges for electrical plastic injection parts?

Common process difficulties in the injection molding of electrical plastic injection parts are:

First: some plastic injection parts are relatively large, the scope of its deformation should also be strictly controlled in the process of injection molding process.

Second: the appearance of these electrical plastic injection parts is generally in high demand, and the finish has some special requirements.

Third: these electrical plastic injection parts have more mating structures and higher tolerances, which increases the difficulty of mold manufacturing.

Fourth: the batches of these plastic injection parts are generally large, so higher requirements are demanded for the plastic injection molds.
